Over a decade of being partner in an established executive coaching and development company - I (Daniel Joy) began to observe that many Learning & Development and Change Management solutions were simply not fit for my clients in the STEM arena.

The fast pace, high stakes and outstanding calibre of the field drove me to form inspiredSTEM, with the  intention of specialising with engineers in the Data Centre industry. Demanding projects, internal and supplier dynamics, technical complexity and science-driven solutions require a different approach to L&D.

The reality is that engineers, scientists and other high performers across tech, data, software, energy and pharmaceutical fields think differently.

They start from first principles, and it is not enough to have chemistry with coaches, consultants and trainers, they demand competency, credibility and character. 

Starting first with my COACHING practice, this is exactly what inspiredSTEM has grown to become.

I've been delighted to significantly expand inspiredSTEM's impact and proposition by partnering with my friend and colleague Dan Adams, who brings a wealth of executive leadership from FTSE100 companies and is uniquely qualified to lead our CAPABILITIES practice.
